
Linda Joann Jefferson was born February 21, 1959 in Snow Lake, Arkansas to her loving parents Oliver Jefferson Sr and Verline Jefferson-Turner. Linda is preceded in death by her dad and brother Willie Jefferson.
Linda attended Shortridge High School and after high school she worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for 20 plus years. Linda was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior until her death.
Linda’s favorite pastimes were cooking, shopping online and spending time with her only son, grandchildren, and family sitting on the porch talking with the neighbors.
Linda departed this life at 58 years and 10 months on Friday, December 1, 2017.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her mother and father Rev Clarence and Verline Turner; her son Gary D. Tinsley; grandchildren Damonte and Lillian Rose; brothers Larry (Virginia) Jefferson, James (Cindy) Jefferson, Freddie Jefferson; Oliver (Alesia) Jefferson, and Dennis (Krystal) Jefferson; sister Michelle (Darrnell) Ford; other family members Dwayne Turner, Debra Turner, Clarence Jr (Red) Turner, Todd (Linda) Turner, Teresa (Chucky) Bell, Lisa Turner, and Natalie Turner; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 12 noon Saturday, December 9, 2017 with visitation prior to the service from 10 am to 12 noon. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
